Dr. Orlando Olumide Odejide
Convener of thought leaders, policymakers and institutions · A voice for good governance and institutional reform across Africa · Founder, Transformation College of Business and Technology
Why he founded Transforming Nations.
Dr. Orlando Olumide Odejide has spent more than two decades helping institutions become stronger, better governed and more resilient — including governments and public bodies responsible for the systems on which societies depend. Across that work, one conviction took hold: the very disciplines that make an institution excellent — sound governance, clear standards, accountable execution — are precisely what nations need to move from good intentions to genuine transformation.
Transforming Nations is his answer to that conviction. He founded it as a platform to convene the people who can change things — policymakers, institutions and citizens — and to turn rigorous ideas into practical policy that African nations can actually implement. Where others see intractable problems, he sees solvable challenges. Where others stop at diagnosis, he insists on execution.
As Founder and Convener, he sets the tone for everything TN stands for — a belief that a nation, like a great institution, is not transformed by intention alone, but by the discipline to carry better ideas all the way through to action.
True responsibility lies not in naming problems, but in resolving them. A nation is transformed the same way an enduring institution is built — by the discipline to turn better ideas into better execution.
Two decades turning standards into transformation.
His vision for Transforming Nations is grounded in a career spent doing exactly this work — advising governments, institutions and enterprises on how to govern well, manage risk and build for the long term. His public-sector experience spans education, health, transportation, aviation, natural resources, water and financial-crimes control: the machinery of the state itself.
Building the institutions that transform nations.
Dr. Orlando does not only advocate for transformation — he builds the institutions that deliver it. Transforming Nations, TCBT and his advisory work form one connected mission: to empower the people and institutions who shape a nation’s future.
